How much does it cost to test and diagnose?
A test and diagnosis costs AUD $120. Please note shipping is at the customer’s expense.
How long does it take to repair?
Most of the time testing & repairs are completed within 1 to 3 days but occasionally a major repair might take a little longer (up to 3 weeks). All repairs are fully traceable so up to date information is always available.
What can we repair?
PLCs, HMIs, Variable Speed Drives, Servo Motors, and other automation or sensing equipment. We’ve got a very talented team of engineers & technicians so chances are we’ll be able to get you out of trouble in no time.
Where do I send items for repair?
Before sending in your repair, make sure you’ve filled out ourRMA request form!
Once you’ve confirmed your repair with our repairs department, address your item to:

What sort of guarantee do I get on repairs?
All 4D Controls repaired or replaced products are covered by a2 year warranty.

What are the different product conditions?

SSP – Surplus Sealed Package
Unused and in original factory sealed packaging, but the packaging may have markings, signs of discolouration or wear with an older date code and/or require firmware or hardware revision.
SOP – Surplus Open Package
Unused and in original factory packaging, but the packaging was opened or the factory seal is missing (if applicable), or the product may be in replacement packaging. Packaging may have markings, signs of discolouration or wear. These items may be an older version or design.
SNB – Surplus No Box
The product has not been put into service but is repackaged in 4D Controls packaging. SNB may not include manual(s) or other accessories normally supplied when buying SSP or SOP. Products in this category may be part of an older series, style, weathered, or discoloured.
UPP – Used in 4D Controls Packaging
The product has been previously used but has undergone testing and repair by our technicians prior to shipment. The product is packaged in 4D Controls packaging, but may not come with documentation and accessories normally supplied when buying SSP or SOP. Products in this category may be part of an older series, style, weathered, or discoloured.
